Hey guys! In this section, it is my hope that we might be able to catch a glimpse of what worship is and how we fit into that definition. Now, does that mean that I have all the answers? Uh... no. Sorry. (as if you would really think that! ha ha!) I really wish I did. But alas, I am learning that I really have fewer and fewer answers than I ever thought I had in the beginning. But.... in the midst of all of these non-answers, I'm coming to a wonderful peace in the process. The process is.... learning how to live in community.... with God and with others. And, possibly you're on that journey. Maybe you feel like you're just beginning. Maybe you've been heading down this path for years. Either way, you're still on the path and you are learning.... working out your salvation, if you will. And part of that learning process is learning how to worship God. Learning what it means to come to worship. Learning what it means to bring the sacrifice of praise. Learning what it means to enter His Sanctuary. And for me, it has taken me down a path of fewer individual worship experiences and more of a view of worship as a day to day reality. Practicing the presence of our God. Seeing Him in the exciting and mundane. That is where we will find our worship. Not in some special building or music extravaganza. But in everyday experiences, people and encounters. And this page is just me working these things out. No real answers, just some milemarkers along the path. |
